Our Story

We’re a family-owned and operated business based in Winter Haven, Florida, and we’ve been handcrafting natural solid lotion bars and lip balms for years; first, under our original brand, Love + Leche, and now as Little Bee Lotion Bar. The products haven’t changed. We’re still hand-pouring each and every bar and balm in small batches using the same formula we’ve trusted from the beginning. What’s new is a name and a look that better reflects who we are and where we’re going.

The name Little Bee comes from our most iconic product and from the ingredient at the heart of everything we make. Beeswax. It’s one of nature’s most effective skin protectors, and it’s been in every bar we’ve ever poured. The little bee has always been our symbol, and now it’s our name.

What We Make and Why It’s Different

Every product in our line (the 2.5 oz Lotion Bar, the Mini Balm, the Lip Balm) shares the same skin-nourishing base: pure beeswax, organic coconut oil, and almond oil infused with certified organic calendula flowers. No water, no preservatives, no synthetic fragrance, no unnecessary fillers.

Scented varieties use only pure essential oils. Our “Natural” option skips the essential oils entirely, ideal for sensitive skin (and paws!) or for customers who want fragrance-free moisture.

Everything is hand-poured in small batches. That’s not a marketing phrase, it’s how we actually work. Small batches mean quality control, fresh product, and a level of care you can feel the moment you open the packaging.

Made for Real Life

Our products were designed to solve a real problem: dry skin that regular lotion doesn’t quite fix. The solid bar format means you’re applying concentrated moisture, not water-diluted lotion, and no single-use plastic pump that dispenses more than you need.

We’ve heard from customers who use our bars for everything: rough hands and elbows, chapped lips, cracked heels, dry cuticles, even post-chemotherapy skin care. One community that especially loves our bars? Fiber artists! Knitters, crocheters, and weavers who need deep hand moisture they can apply while they work. Our formula contains no extra oils that would transfer to yarn or cause stickiness. Your hands stay soft. Your yarn stays clean.
